Helping the community
At HFC Bank, we actively support the communities in which we operate and are proud of the work we do in raising money for both national charities and local initiatives. We focus on the areas of youth, education and economic development.
Our major charity partners are Macmillan Cancer Support, Acorns Children's Hospice and RSPCA. Fundraising activities in Winkfield and Birmingham also benefit local schools and organisations, such as Garth Hill College. In addition to corporate donations, employees are actively involved in their own fundraising projects and HFC Bank supports these efforts through a matching programme.
Environmental care
HFC Bank also places great emphasis on environmental care and this is reflected in the number of environmental awards our Head Office in Winkfield has won. The Bank makes every effort to recycle its paper, as well as use recycled paper wherever possible. The company attempts to be as energy efficient as possible, operates a green transport policy and actively encourages employee participation in environmental programs. The HSBC Group is carbon neutral overall.
